Do you love what you do?
Twelve years and more than 300 weddings later, the answer is YES!
I feel so blessed by photos. My work has taken me to fog-laden forests in China and puffing volcanoes of Guatemala. I enjoy a variety of types of pics, weddings, families and businesses.
It’s a blast getting to know people throughout the process…and to capture them at their best. I feel blessed to be apart of whatever stage of life you want photos.
How did you find photography?
I’d like to say I burst onto the scene, but learning photography was more like wading in and falling in love.
Photography started in college as a side job and gradually replaced my full-time counseling gig. I often get to see the highlights in someones life, and I love that. Weddings, babies, graduation, new business, families at Christmas… it’s just happy. I sometimes think I have the happiest job.
What do you enjoy outside photography?
I like painting, sewing, decorating, learning French, and creating with my 3 girls (ages 12, 11 and 9, all are 19 months apart).
I love to travel, but feel most at home with my husband Brad. We love to try new things with our kids: camping, hiking, volleyball, dance, basketball, running and home renovations!
