My heart is full of love and excitement for this stunning family!!
Due to weather we had to reschedule this session, and I’m so so glad we were able to…because check out this beautiful sun!! For anyone wondering what a morning session can look like….here it is! Sigh.
My sweet dear amazingly awesome and spectacular friend is engaged!!!!! HOLY SMOKES, I’m just so excited for her and Josh. Did I mention Brandi is beautiful, inside and out?? And it just so happened they planned to come visit Brad and me just two days after they got engaged…so of course we squeezed in a quick session.
You know how some friends would deliver the moon if you needed it? Well, Brandi is that type of friend. I’ll never forget when she was in Burkina Faso (West Africa) for her time with the Peace Corps. Since she was in such a remote village, contact was pretty limited. Every now and then I did get to talk to her on the phone, though. And one of those few times I was pretty upset about something not going as planned. I don’t even remember what it was anymore, but what I do remember is that Brandi offered to fly back to the U.S. to help me out. This would have been extremely expensive on her end, and would have eaten up her precious vacation time, but nonetheless she offered to do it in an instant just to help me out. I didn’t take her up on her offer, but that is just one shining example of the inner beauty this lovely lady possesses and I will never forget it.
And….. I’m so so so SO honored to be a bridesmaid in her wedding in April!! It’s going to be so beautiful. And I’m so excited to help her plan a wedding. I photograph all these beautiful weddings, thinking…oh wow, that’s a great idea! I want to do that!! But wait…I’m already married. Well now, all these creative thoughts can be channeled into something grand!! hehe.
Alright enough chat. Brandi, I love you darling, and I’m so happy for you two to be starting this beautiful journey together :)
Heck yes!! Aimee and Jeremy didn’t want to stress and try to squeeze in too many photos on their wedding day, so doing an after session was a must! Basically these two got dressed back up and we took all these amazing photos that we didn’t have time for on their wedding day. This is also a great alternative if you don’t want to do a first sight/first look but still want some great photos :D.
For this session they came out to Trinity Park (my all time favorite park!) and then we finished up the session at the Ft Worth Modern Art Museum. Another favorite. The day was so beautiful! It matched their attitudes, spirit and love for each other :).
This couple just warms my heart. They are so kind and sweet on each other! Makes me want to go give my honey a huge hug!! Such a sweet inspiring couple to be around :D. Their wedding is going to be SO AMAZING!!!
