casey + caleb | victoria wedding | spring creek event center

Casey and Caleb were wed Saturday, June 12th at Our Lady of Victory in Victoria, Texas.  They met in college at St Mary University’s in San Antonio. Casey just recently graduated and they now both live and work in Victoria. They are so crazy about each other, perfectly at ease in their relationship.  It was a true joy working with Casey, and her parents as well, as they were always so kind and affirming.  Being around such a loving, close-knit family was very heartwarming.  Their wedding was one of the most amazing event packed weddings I’ve had the privilege of photographing.

The day started off with a catered breakfast complete with mimosas, followed by a morning full of photo taking and relaxation.  After the wedding ceremony the reception festivities began at the brand new Spring Creek Event Center.  The attention to details at the reception made it feel like a dream, the lighting perfectly matched the warm summer evening as the fragrance of roses drifted in the air.

The rocking band Brent Van Sickle (from Fort Worth) entertained guests as they enjoyed among other things; an awesome cigar rolling station (from Austin), a huge Jolly Jump for the kids, a photo booth, a martini bar, a pie bar (YUMM!) and a fantastic surprise fireworks show! How cool is that? Casey’s dad surprised the happy couple with a fantastic ten minute display of fireworks choreographed to music by Black Eyed Peas and Van Halen. The fireworks were done by ProFx. Inc out of Austin. This same pyrotechnics duo does the fireworks for the University of Texas, Astros, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Houston Rockets, and Microsoft to name a few. Sweet right?

Their wedding planner extraordinaire, Katherine from Goen South (San Antonio), was responsible for masterfully making Casey’s dream a complete and total reality.  With wedding vendors coming from all over the state that was quite an impressive feat!  So if you’re looking for a beyond amazing planner, please check her out.  :)

Casey and Caleb, I wish you the happiest life together. You two rock :)
